Avalanche preparedness

In the interest of promoting avalanche safety in this state (which has the highest per capita death rate from avalanches in the country), I offer this helpful safety tip. The only issue I see is that in Alaska, most people who die in avalanches do so while skiing or, especially, snowmachining. It is hard to see how you could carry that much beer on your back or in your snowmachine.
