Brian Doherty gives an update on the Free State Project. For those who do not know what that is, click here. Interesting concept legally. If it takes off, and I think there's a decent chance, I think you will find those ideas quickly spread throughout the country. While the project really intrigues me, I think that we already have a great deal of freedom here in Alaska. No state income tax, no state sales tax, huge areas of open land, concealed carry with no permit (not only from the legislature, but sponsored by a Demoract, showing that Alaskan politics are quite different than the rest of the country's), and semi-legal weed! So, after careful consideration, I will wish the free staters well from the frozen tundra of the 49th State.
