Here is a very good article about Angel Raich, the lead plaintiff in Raich v. Ashcroft, the medical marijuana case set to be argued before the Supreme Court on 11/29. This case will be a very big case for not only medical marijuana, but also the commerce clause. Randy Barnett, one of the lead attorneys on the case, stated that this would be an interesting case because "conservatives love the commerce clause and liberals love medical marijuana". BTW - I want to take this time to plug Barnett for the Supreme Court again. If you want to know why, read this book. For an overview of the legal issues of the case, click here.
Link via Drug War Rant, which will be devoting some additional time to this important case in the future.
